22x18 (SPC) clad narrow profile V-belt
Description
Narrow profile clad V-belts with the same profile width have a higher profile height than classic V-belts. Due to the larger adhesive surface, they provide greater torque transmission and generally longer service life. Typically, they are black in color. The SPC V-belt is a pair of C belt with increased profile height (18mm height). The Size field displays the belt width, the nominal length of the belt in millimeters, and the nominal length in inches. The Description field displays the nominal length of the belt and its nominal external size.

The typical size of the product is Lp (pitch swing), which is printed on a strap. (It can also be called Lw or Ld, but it means the same thing.) If you don't want to recalculate/design, change belt type and are looking for a narrow profile V-belt, pay attention only to the Lp size! If you want to replace a classic belt with a narrow profile strap, find the size of your old belt among the classic belts 22 and read the Ld size for the given strap from the table and choose a suitable narrow profile V-belt.
The SPC profile belt can be used for a pulley marked SPC. From a technical point of view, it is a strong solution for belt drives.
