Description

Threaded ball joints are also called rod ends and can be made with an external thread. A GE type ball joint is installed in a cast housing that is externally threaded. The nominal size of the external thread is always the same as the nominal shaft diameter of the GE eye.Ball joints with external thread can be of SA or SAKAC design. Ball joints with external thread can be made with right-hand or left-hand thread. Right-hand drive is the basic designation. In the case of left-hand traffic, an L is indicated. SAL or SALKAC.
