MXL pulleys
General information
The side profile of toothed belt discs with MXL profile resembles a gear. The wedge angle of the teeth is 40 degrees. The tooth height is 0.51mm. It is also of equal width on the teeth and in the valleys between the teeth. MXL pulleys have a pitch of 2/25 inch or 2,032mm. The division can be measured from interdental center to interdental center, or from mid-tooth to mid-tooth. Standard pulleys are available for belts ~6 mm wide. For other belt widths, a pulley can be formed from a rack and pinion.
