Taper Bushes

General information

The tapered clamp (Taper Bush) is one of the most commonly used shaft binding elements. It is made of gray cast iron. It is usually used to attach belts or sprockets to the axle. They are produced in standard designs, so products of any manufacturer can be used to fix the dial of any manufacturer. The outer side of the tapered clamps is tapered, here they can be attached to the pulley. The inner hole is made in cylindrical, standard and fitted sizes. Each clamping hole also includes a latch groove.

The size of the groove is the standard size corresponding to the hole, according to the DIN6885 standard. Also included in the packaging of the clamp you can find a pair of fastening screws. Buying a spare screw is necessary if the original screw is lost or damaged....On a properly prepared shaft, the clamp can be placed without using a latch, but we recommend using the latch for safe operation!
