Frequency inverters
General information
The frequency converter (frequency converter) can reduce the energy consumption of the motor regardless of demand. The use of a frequency converter typically achieves electricity savings because it literally converts a direct current into an alternating current. A frequency converter consists of a rectifier, an intermediate circuit, an inverter and a control circuit. There are two types of frequency converters: current-guided frequency converters and voltage-guided frequency converters. Frequency converters generate a three-phase current with a lower or higher frequency from the mains frequency.
