Timing bars

General information

Timing bars (toothed rods) are custom-sized, toothed aluminum/steel rods that can be used to make timing belt pulleys. The tooth profile of toothed belts is identical to that of the compatible belt pulleys (e.g., HTD, AT, MXL, etc.), but their width is significantly greater. We use timing bars to make timing belt pulleys that are not available commercially. Pulley guides (pulley rims) are often needed for timing belt pulleys made from toothed bars.
